JAMB 2019 Registration Date Announced

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced 2019/ 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) registration date.

The registration will begin by January 10 and ends six weeks later which is February 21. Cyber Café are also stopped from the registration.

JAMB 2019 registration fee will cost N3500 as FG has reduced it earlier.

PROCEDURE FOR PAYMENT OF EBSU ACCEPTANCE FEE FOR 2018/2019 SESSION



Ebonyi State University (EBSU) Acceptance Fee For 2018/2019 Session Is N30,000 And 
You are required to pay the non-refundable acceptance fee with a transaction charge of (N315), payable into EBSU Account following the procedure outlined below:

NOTE: You Are Advance to Log On to www.ebsu.edu.ng and click on check admission status to confirm your admission first before proceeding.

To generate invoice for acceptance fee payment, first Create portal account by logging to EBSU Portal and click on CREATE A PORTAL ACCOUNT HERE.
Under student type, Choose New Student (Current Year 1)

Enter your jamb registration number in the box that appear

Click on Verify button to generate default account detail with your password

Log into the portal with your jamb registration number and default password

Update Your personal profile before proceeding to generate invoice

Click on Acceptance fees and. choose Get Acceptance Invoice from the dropdown link that appears

Print and proceed to any bank of your choice for payment or payment online by clicking on the payment link on the invoice page.

After which, return to the portal to print your acceptance letter and online admission letter.

PROCEDURE FOR FULL EBSU REGISTRATION FOR NEWLY ADMITTED STUDENTS FOR 2018/2019 SESSION



After payment of non-refundable acceptance fee, candidates will be issued with an electronic receipt following payment, which the candidate can take to the school to receive the applicable service.

Candidates are advised to report to the EBSU Bursary Unit with the electronic receipt to obtain Original EBSU Bursary receipt (i.e evidence of payment of N30,000 acceptance fee).

Thereafter, candidates are advised to report to the EBSU Admission Unit for commencement of documentation; with the following:

    Original JAMB Result slip

    Original O'level result(s) slip (SSCE/NECO or NABTEB)

    Original PD result slip (where applicable)

    Original print out of acceptance fee acknowledgement slip

Original L.G.A. Identification Letter

Original EBSU Bursary receipt (ie. evidence of payment of N30,000 acceptance fee).

  The DELSU Christmas Break  will take effect from Wednesday, 19th December, 2018.

  All DELSU Students are expected to resume on Sunday, 6th January, 2019 as academic activities will commence on Monday, 7th January, 2019.

   This Being The Sixth Meeting Ended Up Inconclusive As The ASUU Delegate Were Reported To Have Walked Out Of The Meeting Which Lasted For Hours At The Instance Of The Minister Of Labour And Employment, Senator Chris Ngige, At The Conference Haill Of The Ministry.

Lecturers To Meet FG Over ASUU Strike By December 17

Speaking to the Punch on Friday, December 14, 2018, in Abuja about the meeting, the Director of Press at the minister’s office, Samuel Olowookere said negotiation for solutions to the issues tabled by ASUU was an ongoing issue.

He said, “Labour minister is again meeting with ASUU on Monday by 4pm. You may wish to attend.”

This is will be the sixth meeting between the Federal government and the union since ASUU strike started , as all previous meetings ended without concrete resolutions to the problem.
The union announced the strike on Sunday, November 4, 2018, after their National Executive Council meeting held at the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State.
